Florida law provides protection against violence in the form of an injunction, also known as a restraining order or stay away order, whether temporary or permanent which places restrictions on the abuser.

Child Support & Time Sharing
Child support in Florida is governed by Florida Statutes. The premise of child support is that both parents have the responsibility to provide for the needs of the child(ren) born to both parties. Child support is based on both parties income and the amount of time sharing by both parents with the minor child(ren). The amount paid in child support is calculated by a formula determined by Florida Child Support Guidelines.
If you would like to know more about your rights in a divorce or paternity case and want to ensure that your rights are protected throughout the process, contact our office to schedule an appointment.
When a child is born in a marriage the child is presumed to be the child of both parents. When a child is born out of wedlock and you need to establish your paternal rights as a father of the minor child(ren) it is recommended that you get a DNA test done to establish paternity. If you have been denied the opportunity to see your child(ren). Our office can assist with the process.
If you are under court-ordered child support and you have information that establishes doubts that you are the father we can assist you in the process to disestablish paternity.
